I have no idea if this is to an author of iPhone Combination. If so, is there a hint file to buy? I bought early on and am just up to Mayhem. More frquently now, the boards are solvable but only by trial and error. I don’t like those. I spent 6 weeks on Havoc 22. And after solving it, I swear there is no way to figure it out logically.
Look at the game Tan-zen. A double tap blinks one piece in one location. If that is hard to program then try column, row. ie 1,3 is the hint for Simple 7. The very first piece in the rack goes in column 1, 3 rows down.
I really enjoy Combination, but I like logic, not guessing.
I’m not sure if you will auto-get this reply, but I will send it anyway.
I agree, Combination was our first attempt at writing a game, and we have some serious balance issues later on. We are currently working on a sequel, which we are re-doing from the ground up. The most important thing in this sequel is to make the game more balanced and fun.
